The prestigious Etihad Airways has contracted IEI to supply environmentally friendly, first quality melamine miso soup bowls for their Japanese sector.
Etihad Airways has secured over 40 global awards in their pursuit of excellence and perfection. The bowls and lids to be supplied by IEI meet all of their criteria. Developed in partnership with our South Korea based manufacturer, the set features a genuine lacquer finish ideal for traditional Japanese cuisine. Only genuine lacquer offers long term commercial durability on repeated dishwasher cleaning cycles.
Many factories use only low quality recycled raw materials with a painted-on finish. These non-food grade safe imitations, are not lacquered and can contain polluted materials which easily crack, peel and fade in colour. Our manufacturing partner confidently certifies that our product is 100% food grade safe and completely hygienic. We use only special lacquers imported from Japan, in line with the highest global standards practiced by Etihad Airways.
